Coil Ram
When fitted with the coil ram, any Meclift variable reach truck can handle coils within its lifting capacity. For example, the Meclift ML1612R can move coils weighing up to 16,000kg.
The load can be transported directly into a container with consummate ease or, by exploiting the machine’s 2,500mm reach, containers can be loaded without the need to drive the reach truck inside.
Depending on the working environment and general conditions, the coil ram’s dimensions can be customised to deliver a solution that best meets the customer’s requirements.
Coil Clamps
The quality of Meclift’s coil clamps and the reach of its machines combine to offer an efficient and safe solution for diverse cargo and goods handling tasks. When fitted with coil clamps, all variable reach trucks in the Meclift range can handle coils within their lifting capacity, while the machines can also be used to load and unload containers or trailers.
Coil clamps can be adjusted, in accordance with the customer’s specific needs and the work environment, and are always supplied with a stand for safe and simple storage.
Switch tools fast
A purpose-designed attachment system ensures that the coil ram and coil clamps – and other special attachments – can be interchanged with ease. Fitted to the lifting frame of Meclift’s variable reach trucks, the system facilitates the swift changing of tools, helping to ensure that switching from one work phase to another is effortless.
