Need to load bundles or extra-long goods? Meclift has a solution

Designed to operate smoothly in confined places and to withstand extreme cold, heat and humidity, Meclift variable reach trucks are in use at ports, railroads, airports and factories around the world.

To support customers engaged in container handling, loading and unloading, pallet handling and the lifting of specialist machinery or other large-size, heavy cargo, Meclift has developed a series of attachments that enhance the capabilities of its versatile reach trucks.

These include purpose-designed attachments that make life easier when it comes to loading bundles of goods and extra-long items.

Loading Box

Aluminium bundles can be handled easily and safely, without scratching or bending the goods or damaging the container floor, using Meclift’s loading box.

Available in a number of sizes, it provides a simple and cost-effective solution, giving customers the option to choose the most appropriate dimensions depending on the work environment.

This smart innovation by Meclift enjoys several worldwide patents. In fact, when equipped with the purpose-designed loading box, the Meclift ML3012RC variable reach truck offers the only solution for loading 7,000mm aluminium bundles weighing 11,300 kg into the centre of a 40ft container.

Lifting Beams

Meclift also offers special lifting beams which, when fitted to its range of variable reach trucks, ensures the effortless handling of extra-long objects, such as steel tubes or steel beams. Sacks of goods can also be transported with ease using this attachment.

The customer specifies the number of trolleys and, in conjunction with the reach capabilities of Meclift variable reach trucks, the 7.5m lifting beams make light work of container loading.

Lifting beams can be fitted to any of Meclift’s variable reach trucks, providing an overall lifting capacity that corresponds with that of the machine, to allow rods, pipes and tubes to be loaded quickly and safely.
