To further enhance the versatility of its variable reach trucks, Meclift has developed a series of attachments, which are interchangeable throughout the range.
Standard Forks
All Meclift variable reach trucks are fitted with one pair of high quality standard forks. The dimensions vary from model to model and fork sizes go up to 300mm (width) x 134mm (height) x 2400mm (length) on the Meclift ML5012R.
Double Forks System
Meclift’s double forks system helps to boost cargo handling efficiencies in a variety of applications. An easy-to-mount attachment, it is purpose-designed to speed up the loading and unloading of containers and trailers.
Capable of handling four euro pallets or a corresponding load on a single lift, the double forks system can also load a 20ft container in only two lifts. The weight of the load is not an issue because the double forks are capable of handling the same maximum load as all Meclift variable reach trucks.
Positioning cargo inside a container is safe and easy, since the basic side shift features can be fully utilised with double forks. Meanwhile, the same fixing points apply to both forks, resulting in slick changes between standard and double forks.
Air Cargo Pallet Forks
For cargo handling at airports, where tight timetables govern all operations, Meclift has developed air cargo pallet forks (ACPF).
Acting as a seamless extension to a roll conveyor for the loading and unloading of cargo, this patented system’s agility and speed lies in its ability to lift pallets off the ground and roll them directly onto the conveyor. Receiving pallets from the conveyor is equally quick and effortless.
The ACPF facilitates the loading and unloading of air cargo efficiently and smoothly. It not only saves time, by eliminating unnecessary work phases, but also plays a key role in improving safety at work.
Switching forks is easy
The range of attachments enables customers to maximise their investment in Meclift variable reach trucks by using the machines for multiple handling purposes across a variety of applications. A special, purpose-designed attachment system, fitted to the reach truck’s lifting frame, means that operators can change forks, or switch to other tools, quickly, easily and safely.
