We’re pleased to report that we’ve just delivered a Sany 4531 fully laden container reach stacker to Rail Freight Services.
A specialist materials handling and logistics provider, Rail Freight Services offers its customers a seamless and fully integrated transportation and handling service for bulk or containerised products, from source to delivery point.
The new Sany machine will be put to work at a South Wales railhead operation, where it is expected to handle around 150,000 tonnes of material each year.
A key addition to the Rail Freight Services fleet, the reach stacker is considered ‘operational-critical’. Each day a train from Cumbria carrying containerised limestone and dolomite is unloaded and reloaded in the rail sidings for a manufacturing facility in South Wales.
Our ISO accreditations, especially OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety, have been a huge help with site compliance. Across quality, environment and health and safety we share the same level of compliance as Rail Freight Services.
The reach stacker carries the Cooper warranty and was supplied with full operational capability. We’ll be making sure that any preventative maintenance is scheduled so as not to compromise the manufacturing facility.
